Introducing the Prilo WeatherEdge Discord
This is an announcement about a community and the informational content we post in it. It is not financial, investment, or trading advice, and nothing here — or in the server — is a recommendation to do anything. It's meteorology, data, and discussion.
We've opened a Discord community for people who follow Kalshi daily-high temperature markets. It's the room where the model's daily reads live alongside everyone else watching the same nine cities — a place to compare notes on the weather, not a signal service.
What we post there
The server carries the same model outputs you see on the dashboard, pushed automatically as the day unfolds:
- Morning day cards — each station's model high and the regime driving it, first thing in the morning.
- The pre-close desk board — a cross-station snapshot of where the day is landing: model high, whether the peak looks locked in, and the model's headline bracket. Informational — a picture of the day, not a call to make.
- Peak-lock movers — when a station's high firms up or a late move changes the picture.
- Settlement log — how each city actually settled, and where the model and NWS landed against it.
- Published calibration — our weekly, honest scorecard of how the model did. We post the misses too.
- Station rule cards — the quirks that decide these markets: 6-hour-max settlement, whole-degree rounding, sea-breeze caps, and the rest.
Who it's for
Anyone curious about how daily-high temperatures are forecast and how these markets settle is welcome — the community, the morning cards, the settlement log, the rule cards, and the calibration scorecards are open to every member. Pro and Max subscribers also get the full pre-close desk board across more stations. Everything in the server is informational and educational; none of it is a trade recommendation.
How to join
Join the Prilo WeatherEdge Discord →
Link your account in the app (Profile → Discord) so your tier syncs automatically. Come say hi in the intro channel and tell us which city you watch.
Once more: this is an educational community about weather and how a daily-high model behaves. It is not financial, investment, or trading advice, and nothing posted there is a recommendation, signal, or solicitation to buy or sell any contract. You assume full responsibility for any decision you make.
